Hard drive is a non-removable primary storage device of a computer that stores and retains all the information and data. At times, you may observe corruption in the hard disk which occurs due to numerous reasons such as exposure to heat, water, file system damage, natural disasters, etc. When a hard disk fails or corrupts, the data stored in the hard drive becomes inaccessible, which can result in data loss. An ideal way to overcome such situations is to restore your data from a valid and up-to-date data backup. In case, the backup is unavailable, or itself corrupts, then you need to use Hard Drive Recovery services to recover your data completely.
For instance – you are using a Windows-based program to run a particular program. Suddenly, the program crashes and you encounter the below error message:
“Program_name has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We have created an error report that you can send to help us improve Program_name. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous.

This error message makes the data stored in the hard drive inaccessible.
Cause:
The above issue indicates hard drive damage. In case, when a file resides on the damaged portion of the hard disk, Windows fails to access the file causing the program to crash.
Resolution:
To try and workaround the above issue, consider the following measures:
1.Restart your computer- This will enable Windows to automatically check and recover any files located on the damaged area of the disk.
If the re-starting process does not resolve the issue, then try to scan your hard disk. To do so, follow the steps below:
1.Firstly, click 'Start', then click 'Run', type cmd, and click OK. A command prompt Windows will open.
2.Then type chkdsk/ r, and press 'Enter'. You will be prompted to schedule Chkdsk to run when the computer restarts.
3.Press 'Y' and then 'Enter'.
4.Then you need to restart your computer. During startup, Windows check your disk for errors, and Windows will try to recover files located on the damaged area of the hard disk.
But, if the problem persists even after following the above measures, then you need to seek help from a well-known Data Recovery company. These companies provide professional Hard Drive Recovery services to ensure complete recovery of your hard drive data.
