Do you always end up with chocolates, roses, and a candle- lit dinner with romantic songs in the background while preparing for a date? If yes, then it’s time for you to find some out-of-the-box ideas to jazz up your date. Well, I am not saying that chocolates and roses aren’t romantic but doing the same thing over and over can make anything boring. I’ve compiled a list of 10 dating ideas that will make your special day a really special one!
1.Don’t give roses. Instead this time gift your date a trip to horticulture garden.
2.Keep those tootsies warm by snuggling up with romantic books. If both of you are fans of regency romance then books by Jane Austen, in particular Pride and Prejudice can do wonders. I am yet to meet a girl who doesn’t like Pride and Prejudice! If you are looking to read something by recent authors then Mary Balogh, Lisa Kleypass, Julia Quinn and Stephanie Laurens to name a few fit the bill perfectly.
3.Play online romance games, quizzes and compatibility tests to have fun-filled time. If you thought online games were all about fighting dragons or aliens, chasing goons and racing cars then you were wrong! A large number of gaming websites these days are more and more focusing on romance and dating. Most of these games let players assume the forms of attractive cartoonish characters who meet, flirt and date with other player characters.
4.Don’t dine out instead prepare a homemade dinner for your date. For guys, the best way to woo your woman is over a bowl of pasta and a bottle of fine red wine. And if you are in a mischievous mood then pasta in naughty shapes fit the bill perfectly.
5.Instead of gifting a box of chocolates, this time fill in a large cup with thick, melted chocolate and mix it with milk. On wintry dates snuggle under a blanket and keep sipping hot chocolate with your sweetie– doesn’t this sound utterly divine and perfect?
6.Take a mini road trip, break loose from the day to day hassles and spend quality time together in the car. To make it a success you have to plan ahead.
7.If the date is for your spouse then take over a chore that he/she usually does. If you are planning a date for your wife then you can probably clean the kitchen, cook the dinner or may be do the laundries. Nothing pleases a wife more than having a caring husband around her who takes pleasure in helping his wife in household chores.
8.See a local band that neither of you have ever heard before.
9.Take a walk down the memory lane and do all the things you did on your first date. You can also visit the place where both of your first met.
