| 2010 Formula 1 Season Summary |

It seems widely agreed that the 2010 FIA Formula 1 season was one of the greatest, at least in recent history of the sport. Whether this is definitely the case or not, is subjective, and based on pure opinion. What is sure, is that most people seem happy that Vettel won, rather than Webber or Alonso. Alonso and the Ferrari team seemed to believe that they deserved the World Driver's Champion before they actually won it.
Alonso's behaviour at the end of the Abu Dhabi race - complaining to Petrov for getting in his way, when Petrov was simply racing - showed that arrogance up. No one also seems to be wishing that Webber one instead - aside his actual fans of course. It is recognised that he is simply not as good a driver as Vettel. After the Abu Dhabi qualifying, he fully admitted that he was literally and simply unable to post a lap time as good as Vettel's. How can any such driver really be a true World Champion? A Formula One blog may explain more.
Everyone knows that the main reason why Vettel won could be the far, far superior car he was driving, and perhaps Lewis Hamilton would have easily won in the same car, but what ifs are always contentious. People ask what if Hamilton had not crashed out - but then what if also his competitors did not have their troubles? A Formula 1 fansite has an opinion.
One thing can be said, Formula 1 certainly gained a lot of popularity in 2010, and people can express this through a Formula 1 blog, or an F1 fan site. The popularity is set to build in 2011.
