Google AdWords is a technique of both direct and affiliate marketing. A modern business can adopt this model to market its own products and services. Some organizations even initiate such campaigns to market the products offered by other popular companies. They normally post an ad having a link to the official website of the other manufacturer. Whenever a user clicks on the link, he is redirected to the page allowing him to place online orders to avail the product. The advertisers get some percentage of commission from the manufacturer based on the actual sales facilitated through this search result based advertising technique. So you can use Google AdWords as a technique to increase the sales volume of a product manufactured and marketed by your own business along with selling other products on a commission basis. But irrespective of the mode of marketing, you must spend some time in designing a proper keywords strategy and implement the same while creating the ads to be posted. You must initiate a comprehensive and exhaustive keyword research before starting the Google AdWords campaign. While doing the research, you can list down the keywords in phrases and individually. After listing down the keywords, you can evaluate their effectiveness matching with the nature and features of the advertised products. It is also important to identify the most targeted and search keywords, and use the same for developing ads. The entire collection of keywords may or may not be utilized for developing ads, but you can always implement the same while optimizing your website and developing search engine based content.

Placement of Keywords

The placement of keywords is also of great significance just like their selections. An advertiser must concentrate of the keyword density in an ad and avoid placing too many keywords as part of a single ad group. For instance, if the Google AdWords includes phrases indicating a similar meaning like the red car and white car, you can create two distinct ad groups. One ad group can contain ads highlighting the keyword red car, while another ad group has to be created with ads highlighting the other keyword white car. However, it is important to create ad groups containing keywords of similar nature and character.

Creating Individual Ads Based on Keywords

An advertiser must develop a number ads based on various combinations of keywords. There are no guaranteed formulae to choose the exact combination of keywords to use the same as Google AdWords. You can develop more than one ad for the most targeted keywords or keywords phrases. It will help in evaluating the performance of a posted ad based on its click through rate (CTR). You can always modify, replace or remove a specific ad getting a much lower click through rate to make the ad campaign more effective and efficient over a longer period of time.
