| A little about the Computer |

Computers play a huge part in many all of our lives in one way or another. They have many purposes and are used in various types of environments, such as medical facilities, government offices, and many households. They also are the reason we are able to surf the internet, watch animated television shows and see movies with special graphics. Computers have impacted our lives in many ways. You may not notice it but they did make life a lot easier. Without computers, the world would be a harder place to live in. The computer is a computing machine; it offers all benefits of a good well calibrated machine.
A computer can repetitively compute without making mistakes. A computer is not biased. A computer is quicker in doing assigned tasks since it takes help of Integrated Circuits to process. It is very important that a given problem is expressed in computer terminology first, exhaustively and accurately, to avail benefits of computers. A computer works with information, more or less anything that can represented as information may benefit from a computer. For example, writers, photographers, filmmakers, music makers all work, to an extent with information. Generally the effect of computerization is to amplify the amount of work an individual can do. Nowadays, managers are expected to type their own letters - which will often actually be emailed. What used to be done by 3 or 4 people is now done as part of the work of one person - so the computer has amplified the amount of work that one person can do. In a household a computer possibilities are endless. All that is needed is internet connection and the computer. Computers are beneficial because one can pay bills, go to school and stay connected to family and friends all over the world. The advent of computers has revolutionized the workplace and fast-forwarded the business world to the Information Age as we know it today. Use and applications of computers in every aspect of business is now commonplace and an inevitable operational practice. Computers influence and benefit most areas of advanced society. The technology in computers has been used to improve many aspects of life including educational opportunities, occupations, medical techniques and communication. Computers are changing and benefiting our lives. Education and opportunities are advancing due to the growing availability of computer technology. Computers provide access to readily available and instantly updated information, which has been used by all levels of education. Computers are wonderful machines. They are everywhere and society depends on them to manage our world. It is no wonder that computers have almost unlimited applications, and that they are multiplying at a steady rate. Computers were introduced into cars in the late nineteenth century, for such effects as controlling engine functions, fuel injection, and signal light timing. It is not until recently, that computers have started to play a role in helping to save people’s lives by enabling car manufacturers to create new automobile safety features.
