Before I start, let me share some wonderful facts about business women/ women entrepreneurs in the US.
The number of women-owned businesses continues to grow at twice the rate of all U.S. firms, and their economic influence is increasing at speeds exceeding the national average.Growth rates are higher than average among women-owned firms with $1 million or more in sales and 100 or more employees, yet most women-owned firms are very small, with no more than 10 employees.For the past two decades, majority women-owned firms have continued to grow at around two times the rate of all firms (42% vs. 24%). Three quarters of all women-owned businesses are majority owned by women (51% or more), for a total of 7.7 million firms, employing more than 7.1 million people, and generating $1.1 trillion in sales.Women-owned firms continue to face challenges, including access to capital, access to markets and access to training and technical assistance.
The last fact surprised me and i felt sad that still women face such problems in 21st Century.
Suddenly an idea strikes my mind with a sparkling fire why dont i help them to some extent at least working in a designing firm i can help them to establish an internet or web presence. As we are doing this for others why dont we do it for women. So, next morning talked to my manager and after long discussions for days we decided to show our gratitude to all business women to show their internet presence in the market.
