A Two Step Strategy for Affiliate Marketing
Am I accurate in concluding that you would be happy to find an affordable step by step guide to establishing a profitable affiliate marketing business? Affiliate marketing is not a difficult concept, but it can be hard and quite stressful to successfully master these concepts, so I am going to alleviate some of that stress by showing you a simple two step plan for creating a successful affiliate marketing business.
The First Step: Find a Teacher
The first step in reaching your goals is to locate a coach and mentor who has already proven a path to success in the affiliate marketing process. As I began the process of learning online marketing in the fall of 2008, I was overwhelmed by the number of make money from home and make money online programs that were available on the internet. In addition to the number of programs available, I was amazed by the prices that the well known "gurus" demanded for their services, with $1997 being a common starting point for their rehashed "systems" and video taped seminars. I knew that if I could find someone, at a reasonable price, who had already proven a successful marketing method, that I would have taken an important short cut to succeeding. So began my search for an program within my means, that would teach me the spectrum of online marketing methods.
Phase Two: Niche Identification
Once you have found an affordable mentor, the next thing that you need to do is identify a niche that is commercially friendly, and identify a product within that niche. It seems like every marketer wants to enter the make money niche, myself included, a result of a fascination with the process of making money ever since childhood. Of course in 2011, the make money niche is a very competitive category to try to break into. It would behoove you to investigate the marketplace, and find a niche that has both high demand and consumption, without a level of competition that is insurmountable, which will allow you the opportunity to get a good level of subscribers and sales.
It is not that easy, as you may imagine, many of my pages have been online for 6 months or more before they began their ascent to the first page of google. That is the reason that promoting a product, or creating one, that you firmly believe in is important, because you must be motivated to complete the work that is required to reach your objectives. So its important to ensure the products you promote meet your personal requirements for purchase and use. You only have one reputation as an affiliate marketer, and you don't want to ruin it by promoting bad products.If you will follow these two suggestions, you will begin your affiliate marketing career with a solid foundation. The proper start will ensure that you find the success you desire in affiliate marketing.It is best for you to avoid the "shiny object" syndrome that is a result of a constant stream of make money product launches, you are better off joining a membership site with mentoring, that will allow you to absorb the material at your own pace, and provides support to get you past sticking points, and alleviates confusion.
