The latest Norton product released by Norton has come up with the a warning to the computer user that one in every five computer user will face online attack. It as has been based on the study done by Norton over the years as the cyber crime has increased over the years. Norton which has been focusing over the faster performance over the years but now has come up with the new feature in the Norton 360 and Antivirus 2010 called Quorum. Quorum is a behavior based search engine of Norton which will match the process pr application with every Norton Insight and check if it safe t run on the computer or not.
Quorum has been included in the Norton 2010 and Antivirus 2010 which makes it more reliable to use and moreover the antivirus also gives you peace of mind. Quorum has been designed for those who want to install it on there computer and then want the antivirus to check and scan every thing that is installed on the computer. I will help you with an example how it works, when you are using you computer the work of Quorum is to check all the process with the Norton Insight if has been run the computer before or not. If it has been termed safe last time it would not further object it from running, however if it is running for the first time then it would send the details of the process and check how many other users are using it and if the process is termed as safe or not. If the user is the first to use the process, Norton will alert the user about the process and ask them to avoid it temporarily until Quorum is not sure about it.
Thus, we can say that Norton Quorum has been designed for those who want to follow the principle “set-it-and-forget-it”. As the main objective of Quorum is to bring all the Norton tool together to scan and remove the files. Quorum not only scans the process that are running it also check the files that you may have downloaded and then ranks it as the safe items or unsafe. Tough a lot has to be done with the Quorum as it has not been much of a Success with the Norton 2010 or Antivirus 2010. Most of the features has come up well with the Quorum however the Anti spy utility still lacks utility. The anti spam used for Norton still lets many spam email to get into the computer. Thus I would suggest you to manually set the files you think is spam and it should help you to get the computer work without any problem. Thus I would suggest you to check when you browse the internet as there has been a hike in the cyber crime.
