With the proper beach gear it becomes easier to plan a beach trip. Many people think that taking a baby to the beach is not safe. But this is a mere misconception. With proper planning and adequate baby beach gear you can take your little sweetheart to the beach. Having a baby never means that you can not enjoy a beach trip. It is rather the opposite. You can very well cherish your coveted trip with your little angel. Here are a few tips that can help you to plan your beach trip.
Go by the following points to enjoy the sun and the surf.
The foremost important thing is a proper stroller. You can move easily anywhere if you have a proper stroller with you. You can bring everything you need. Without a stroller it will be difficult to carry a heavy bag on your back and carrying the baby. In fact the baby will be uncomfortable and when your baby is not comfortable you can not enjoy the sun. A jogging stroller has a convenient basket that allows you to carry several things. Jogging stroller is really very good for carrying all your beach gears and baby gears.
Along with your belongings pack a beach bag separately. Your beach bag should include towel, sunscreen, books, reading glasses etc. Take another small bag for your baby’s belongings like wipes, diapers, SPF 50 sunscreen clothes, sunhat and a few sand toys if you like. Keeping your baby beach gears separately will help you to get them when you need them. You can locate them easily as you put them in a small bag.
Pack a separate plastic bag that contains water, soft drinks, snacks etc. Also include a baby's formula in your list. A hungry baby can never be happy. If your baby is not satisfied you can’t enjoy the vacation and you will have to regret if you try to "get by".
For making your baby feel more comfortable you can skip the idea of taking a beach towel. Instead of a towel you can take a beach blanket or even a mat. The blanket or mat will be large enough to make your baby feel comfortable on the sand. It is not only the baby who needs to be comfortable but you should be equally concerned about your own comfort. Don’t forget to take a beach chair for you. It will allow you to sit anywhere you wish.
Other than the accessories you should also carry an umbrella. If you have a carry case for the umbrella you can sling it over your shoulder. You should also take an SPF 50 of sunscreen. The added sun protection is needed when you are going for a beach trip. So slather yourself as well as your baby with sunscreen. Buy baby gear that is suitable for the beach.
When you plan your beach trip carefully you should not have any problem taking your baby along with you. Just follow the tips given above and your beach trip will be perfect
