It is bound to happen at some shops in the market that the shopkeepers swear that there product is better than others. This is just because usually they have a warehouse full of that brand and have to sell off their stock. The truth is that each ceiling fan brand has some high quality models and some less desirable models to choose from. This is why they need to set up specific goals to match the supply of the fans that cost more and so in this manner, the companies or suppliers can make more profit from the exchange. That's because they all make various quality ranges of ceiling fans to fit into different buyer's needs or budget constraints . In our market, we have a diverse range of buyers that come from different economic backgrounds. The average man, i.e. who has a common salary, will prefer to buy a fan which is good as well as cheap so that it does not cost him a huge fortune. So the top grade fans from each brand are quite comparable (with a few exceptions), and the bottom of the line are quite similar as well. The rating system makes it easier for people to choose the better ones at a glance. Fans with a rating of 5 work best and those with a 1 are the worst, it's that simple. And if one is the type of person who would like to know why one fan is better than the other, which is the usual nature of many buyers, they may satisfy their doubts and put to rest their clarifications by going on the net and searching about the fans. The marketing people won't be of any great help since they will convey to the buyer to purchase their own goods only. But I have collected a usual list of fans, the top fans which are available in the market nowadays. The buyer ought to consult it. It will definitely be useful to him and help him in serving his purpose of purchasing a suitable fan for him.
CASABLANCA : These are also known as "The World's Best Ceiling Fans". They are made of a high quality which has the latest and advanced technology and refined style. However, the problem with them is that they are quite costly. But then, they are also really worth that.

MINKA AIRE: They have the best overall value and are of a Medium price.
FANIMATION: These are famous for their tropical styles and belt-driven models. Though innovative, they are expensive too.
MONTE CARLO CEILING FANS: They possess a distinctive style and have an average to above average quality and are also of an average price only.
