Decorating is not usually a job most of us look forward to, but decorating the stairwell and landing is often the most daunting. Visions of ladders precariously balanced on Stepladders at ridiculous angles causes nightmares not only for the decorator but the family as well.

The 600mm wide unit can be built up to a platform height of 2.2m from the lowest stair, whilst the 700 and 800mm wide units can be built up to 4.2m platform height from the lowest stair. The wider units also offer the added advantage of walk though frames, permitting access to the platform through the inside of the tower. The Stairmax Tower is the safest way to reach awkward stairwells and landings without the need to risk life and limb.
Alternatively and possibly more suited to the keen DIY’er there is the multifunction Prodeck work platform, this product comprises of a stairway ladder, extension ladder and step ladder all in one. This multifunctional unit is ideal for access to those awkward areas around the home and thus makes the perfect companion for interior decoration. The Prodeck when operated in stairway ladder mode offers a safe working height of 2.83m.
In addition to the Prodeck there are a range of combination ladders from the Light Trade 3way up to the robust trade specification Combi 100 range ladders and the new Transforma. All Combination ladders feature a stairway ladder position and can offer safe working heights between 2.83m and 4.22m dependent upon the model chosen.
The Transforma range is a multifunctional professional trade ladder which can achieve 19 different working heights across 4 different modes of operation. A highly versatile tough and robust tool which in stairway mode can reach a safe working height of 2.95m.
