Knowing how to drive a vehicle is very necessary these days as vehicles have become one of the basic needs for everyone. To drive your own or any automobile you ought to have a driving license which is a legal evidence that you could drive and know about all the rules and regulations. There are a few legal requirements to be fulfilled to own a driving license and drive a car legally. Through the test one gets an opportunity to indicate if they have the necessary skills to deal with the kind of traffic conditions they may face every day. Learning about the road safety skills from the very start of the driving process will help make new drivers safer and keep them away from indulging in reckless driving or drunken driving. Also it is meant to check whether the candidate is fully capable of driving on a chaotic road without posing any kind of risk to any of his other companions on the highway.

To get a full driving license, you need to pass the theory test and the practical test. To appear for these tests you need to know the traffic laws, traffic signs and also the rules and regulations of the road. Following this will be a practical driving test. This rule began on 1st July 1997 and it would amount to £31.00 to get a license made for car or a bike. A provisional license is provided before you get this license and for this you should have at least crossed the age of 17.

This test consists of two sections, the multiple choice questions and the hazard perception test. This was included in the test on 14 November 2002. To possess the license you need to successfully pass both.

This test contains multiple choice questions whereby you will be provided with a number of questions with a number of answers, up to six in total. You need to pick the correct ones. At times it could have 2 or more answers correct, so do read the question carefully.

In the hazardous perception test you will be shown a relevant video clip associated with driving, where it will have a developing hazard which you need to recognize and show your consciousness by simply clicking. Also in this test you are provided a PC along with the headphones. You will have 14 video clips on the pc, each of about a minute. Maximum of 5 points is assigned to each hazard. You'll need a total of 44 points out of 75 points to clear the exam.

Sometimes people take these tests very casually but friends it's not as easy. To pass the theory test in the first try it is best spend some time learning with the aid of a book or an online theory test instead of risk failing and losing the booking fee. About half the people who take a theory test fail on the first go. Most of the time this is the hazard perception video clips but could be multiple choice tests too. To raise your chances, it's best to prepare on a pc which has similar tests as the ones that done on the test day.

For the practical test it is best to use a approved driving instructor (ADI) since they are qualified to teach learner drivers and have a lot of experience training learners the skills they require. Small but important things get neglected if you plan to do it all by yourself. Therefore, it's easier to learn from an instructor in a proper way instead of learning bad habits which are a danger to you and also to other people that use the road. The instructor teaches you minor details about the driving, including all the rules and regulations required to be followed.

Once you have passed both practical and theory test you need to inform the DVLA within two years to acquire the full driving license. Else you will have to appear for these tests all over again. After you apply the DVLA will be sending your license in less than four weeks.

You can easily pass Theory test and hazard perception test by learning about it online.
