Executive coaching is the process of developing a relationship between a consulter and an executive which results in increasing the efficiency of the executive and with his/her efforts, of the organization. But what constitutes towards a best coaching experience? Firstly, a best coaching experience is that which produces greater and long lasting results. The work of a great coach or a coaching program is much more than setting goals. It includes expanding the executive’s capacity to achieve their goals, unleash their spirit and bring a radical change. A great coaching experience starts with understanding and changing the context in which goals, motivations, feedbacks inside the organization occur.
People in an organization have different beliefs, conclusions and assumptions and share them to create a successful or unsuccessful business environment. It also involves a work culture which could be self imposed or inherited as a part of the organization. Realizing this point is important in creating frameworks for essential executive coaching experience. Nowadays, the business environment is changing very rapidly and creating new knowledge is one of the main points behind new management culture. The executive coach is a crucial catalyst in achieving that new knowledge. The coach’s work is to offer suggestion and leaving room for the executive to pursue his/her goals and passions.
It is very important that a coach helps executives in doing the things they can do, things they desire to do and what are the right things that should be done. Also, a coach helps in developing the thought process as to what is better and worse for the individual and organization.
