Joining the network marketing company Nuskin Enterprises you will be introduced to some techniques that you should use in order to grow your business. First, ythe company and your upline will tell you to write a list of ALL the people you know, every single one of them- after all everyone is your prospect, right? At least that is what you are told. Then you should go through the list, "work your warm market", give out free samples and bring people to hotel meetings.

Have you been able to grow your business and reach the success you want this way? Well 95 % of the people who joins Nuskin Enterprises, or any other network marketing company, fails! And this is not because that SO many people are just lazy - no, it is because those techniques doesn't work! So, why would you waste your time using techniques that isn't working?

I can guarentee you that NO other industry is using the techniques that are used in the network marketing industry, and it makes pretty good sense why: these techniques causes a huge failure rate. NO other industry thinks that EVERYONE is their prospect, because that is NEVER the case. You may have the greatest product ever og you may love it yourself, but still, everyone won't feel the same. Marketing is all about knowing your target market! You should find people that already have an interest in what you are providing, so that you will become the solution to their problem. This way you will be the help and NOT the annoying friend and family member who keeps bugging them about this GREAT product and opportunity. It is crucial that you learn HOW to properly prospect in order to grow your business.

Imagine walking outside in the snow when your friend comes running towards you, almost yelling "Man, this jacket is just the BEST - it's SO fantastic, you should really buy one RIGHT NOW!" Well, it is cold outside, and if it really is THAT great, maybe you would consider buying one, right? You reply your friend "I will certainly think about it!" But your friend won't take this for an answer and he says "THINK ABOUT IT? No no no, there is absolutely nothing to think about, this jacket is the best jacket ever, and you can't get in anywhere else, you MUST buy it right NOW - you just have to sign right here." Okay, would you still be interested? You might have been a minute ago, but now you just want to walk the other way and never buy anything from that friend, right?

But now imagine this instead: another friend comes to you in the exact same situation with the same jacket, saying "Man this is the best jacket ever, and it really keeps me warm". You will most likely start asking buying questions as "where did you buy that jacket", "how much did the jacket cost" etc. Your friend answers your questions and just before he turns around to walk away he says "This jacket is really great - if you are interested, just say so, I highly recommend it".

Now, take a moment and compare the two situations. If you could choose to be one of these two friends, who would you rather be? My answer will certainly be the second friend, and I believe yours will be as well. But actually Nuskin Enterprises and every other network marketing company tells you to be the first. And this is where it all goes wrong. "Marketing" has NEVER been about convincing people to buy something - it is to know your audience, find your target market and hereby ONLY spending time on your prospects - NOT you friends and family.

So just always remember that not everyone is your prospect. You should be the one who fulfil a want and desire that people already have. To succeed with Nuskin Enterprises you need to learn how to market effectively and marketing is really all about knowing your audience. You can for sure succeed with Nuskin Enterprises, but only when you have recognized that what the company tells you isn't going to get you there. Once you have realized that "everyone" isn't your prospect and once you are reade to do things right, you will be on your way towards succeeding.
