| Staying Healthy This Winter |

It's natural to slow down a bit in the cold winter months. Somehow our immune systems just can't seem to keep up with the raging flu and cold germs that seem to penetrate the air. And the fact that people tend to put on a few pounds in the winter definitely doesn't help our struggling immune systems. Here are some easy things you can do to boost your system and stay healthy through the winter…and all year round too!
• Stay germ-free, within reason. You don't want to get paranoid and walk around with a surgical mask and gloves, but you do want to stay safe. Cut back on sharing drinks with friends, wash your face and hands often, try not to touch your face, and use hand sanitizer frequently. Encourage your children to adopt these practices as well. You want to stay away from swine flu and keeping away from germs is your best bet. You may also want to get a flu treatment, like Tamiflu, from an online apotheke and keep it in your cabinet so you can have it available if someone in your family experiences any flu symptoms.
• If you've read any of my articles before, you know it's incomplete unless I mention the importance of eating healthfully and getting regular exercise into your life. These things are crucial when it comes to boosting your immune system and fighting disease. People who laze around and eat junk not only put themselves at risk for weight gain, but a whole host of other diseases as well, many of them chronic and life-threatening. And when it comes to battling the flu, the healthier and in better shape you are before the flu strikes, the better chances you'll have of fighting off the virus quickly and safely. If you are overweight and are having trouble shedding those pounds, consider diet pills—they're a great way to jumpstart a diet and provide the motivation you need to lose weight and stay healthy.
