When attending tradeshows or exhibitions promotional items play a key role in marketing your business and must attract numerous passers-by to the exhibition stand. Often companies make the mistake of leaving promotional merchandise as an afterthought. However, this can be a costly mistake. The more people are attracted to your stand on the day the bigger the return on investment (ROI) your business will benefit from.

When choosing your promotional products you need to approach it as you would any element of marketing. Who are your target markets? You need to choose promotional items that are relevant to your prospect base and will be appealing to them. No one wants to come away from an event with a bag full of items they will never use. If you are targeting builders, for example, you may look at giving away branded tool pouches for example. It needs to be something that they will use on a day-to-day basis.

If you are targeting office workers then branded USBs or desk calendars are
cheap and popular choices. However, if you want to stand out from the crowd you’ll need to get creative and choose promotional merchandise that is a little different.

Once you have decided on the items think about how you are going to brand them. The next goal is to ensure that whenever your target audience use those items they are reminded of your company. You should always include your company logo and name. A direct form of contact must be plainly seen whether this is a telephone number if you have a customer services line or the website address if your have an e-shop. Keep it clear and simple and ensure that your services are easily identifiable.

At 2bsourced we have an expert team who can help you to find the very best promotional items to market your business.
