Used Avionics are an excellent way to enhance your instrument panel from the basic instruments of the past . If you are looking for quality instruments, the Garmin 430, Garmin 530 etc are offered by Garmin company presently. These are recognized throughout the world for their superior quality and nearly all private pilots will be thrilled to find them in their cockpit . Today, people are burdened under financial crisis and age and these instruments are very advanced devices costing 1000's of dollars and due to this fact, most of the people don't prefer to invest in highly advanced and best technological instruments in their aircrafts.
While eliminating money as a problem may perhaps not be something we may do over night, there are techniques which we can still get our hands on these wonderful pieces of equipment.Its a great idea to use second hand Garmin 430 since it is designed exceptionally well. However if their aircraft is totaled in a hail storm the insurance company will sell that aircraft. The new owner may sell the nice parts, including the avionics or the new owner may by now have some of the same avionics in their aircraft. Obviously they don't need two of them. Another reason is the same purpose you would be looking for them and that is money. Accept the fact that the economic condition has forced the people to either go without it or not take enough flights. In any case, you are encouraging them out while assisting yourself so it is a win-win scenario.
