The world of art fascinates each one of us in one of the other way. There are really well noted celebrities who have gained the name and even fame in the world of art.
Among all other popular arts, the most popular art is paiting. Painting is such an intriguing art which usually is believed to be one of the right means to convey our ideas, emotions, etc...
When it comes to paintings we can never for the great painter "Vincent van Gogh". This known painter got his popularity established in the world of art but it was too late by then. However, during his existence, people never ever knew the worth of his paintings. People never ever prized his art during his life. But it was after his death people got to know about his paintings. After his demise folks started recognizing the excellence of his art. Peple then realized his feelings and emotions that he wanted to convey to the world. His emotions, thinkings, concerns, answers all revealed so superbly in his paintings that if perhaps a person wants to say something but is falling short of words he could just get a painting to express it firmly with ideal knowledge.
Vincent was born in a Teodorus family residing in a very small village of Groot-Zundert on 30-March-1853 . His wife's name was Anna who was formerly from Karbentus. Van Gogh had a loss of mental health. All this happened mainly because of the birth of a lifeless child. This incident made great negative impact on Van Gogh's mind which resulted into the loss of his mental health.
Vincent's childhood was a quite joyful going kind as he was born and brought up in a family who was progressive-minded. He enjoyed with 5 siblings. Vincent was the oldest amongst them. Out of 5 siblings, four committed suicide. Vincent loved to paint pictures. This art attracted him and so he chose to make this art his work when was at sixteen years of his age. Initially he used to sell the paintings of other painters.
He started working in a European firm called Goupil who was a really popular French art dealer. He had fallen in love with Eugenie Loyer. However she rejected him as she was actually engaged. This fact left him in great shock and further affected his mental health. This resulted in the first act of melancholy that later turned in to a depression. He started performing badly in his work which resulted in low competence. Then he went to Amsterdam for studying theology but couldn't pass the exam. Then he joined a missionary school which was located in Brussels. Finishing his education he moved to Borinage, Belgium. There he stayed in barracks and slept on straw like the other poor miners of that region. There Vincent began to paint and numerous people motivated him to do so. Vincent was inspired by the style of Jean-Francois Millet. His one of the ideal works is "potato-eater" that reveals a theme of god-fearing, hard working folks.
Through many ups and downs in life this man had a real tragic history. However then his art of painting made him alive with full of colors and even life with his beautiful and even message conveying paintings.
