The small and fast-moving bed bugs are very common to houses. They can also live in other places like hospitals, hotels, inns and even on buses and trains. Their presence can lead to various negative effects to people and items, the reason why they to be avoided when traveling.
Generally, the said bugs are some of the most commonly known pests. It was claimed some years ago that they were completely eliminated with the help of DDT. However, such claim was proven false when signs of their infestation showed in the recent years. And this time, it seems that they are infesting more and more places.

()Check the room before settling ñ Wherever you will be staying, dorm, hotel or inn, be sure to check on your room. Do not let your luggage in yet. Check the bed, closet, wall decors and even curtains for any sign of the bugs. If you have found any symptom of their infestation, get the manager and make sure that they eliminate bed bugs or transfer to another room.
()Wash luggage when you get back ñ Laundering the items that can be washed with hot water can get rid of bed bugs of all stages. Follow the washing with hot drying to make sure that they get eliminated.
