Have you been looking at the network marketing company YTB International and are you considering joining? Well, chances are that you're having doubts whether it's really possible to succeed with your own YTB business or is it's just a scam. I can certainly understand these doubts, because even though this might be a great company, there are some concerns when it comes to starting your own YTB business.
Like it is with any other network marketing company, there are of course both pros and cons, and I will in this article give you an overview of these, and in the end conclude whether you should get involved with YTB International and start growing your own YTB business, or if it's just at scam.

YTB (Your Travel Biz) is a network marketing company that offers discount travel services. The online travel industry is certainly not a bad industry to be in, and there is for sure a great market out there. Furthermore YTB International offers a business opportunity, where the distributors, called Referring Travel Agents (RTA's), can make up to 60 % of the travels booked on their own website. YTB International allows the RTA's to make money off their distribution channel, just like any other network marketing company.
The network marketing company YTB International was founded back in 2001 by J. Lloyed tomer, Scott Tomer, and J. Kim Sorensen, and since that year the company has grown from nothing to having a 122,000sq.ft. headquarter with more than 180 employees. YTB International is certainly doing very well, and this is without a doubt a great industry to be in.
And then to the cons
Okay, there is certainly a great market when we are talking about the travel industry, but there is also a lot of competition, and actually YTB International are in competition against some very powerful online companies such as Expedia and Hotwire. Now, I'm not saying that competition is a bad thing, because it certainly shows that there is money to be made. BUT, you are told to use the YTB replicated website to grow your YTB business, and this website is more or less the same for every RTA, and this way you will not be able to position yourself. Also this website isn't just good travel information, it also contains information about the company, the opportunity and many other things than saving money on your travels.
YTB International IS a network marketing company and it works just like any other company in this industry. You will be told to grow your YTB business by working your "warm market", talking to your friends and family. The company will also tell you to hand out business cards and their magazines. Futhermore they want you to let your upline close your deals with your clients, and this way you will NEVER position yourself as the expert and the leader in your own YTB business.
Finally - the conclusion
Now I hope you have a better overview of what YTB International is all about. And now it's time to get to the thing that most of you have come to hear. Is this a good business opportunity or is it just a great scam? Well, the truth is that YTB International is NOT a scam and you can certainly become successful by growing your own YTB business. This company does have a great product, and that is really important. But with that said, most people aren't succeeding in this industry and you can't expect for it to be easy. The techniques you are told to use by the company are NOT working, and your success is only determined by whether you can market effectively or not.
Again, YTB International is certainly not a scam, but if you are serious about succeeding with your own YTB business, I suggest that you learn how to become a great marketer in order to grow your business. If not, just use their travel service to save a little money, instead of wasting your time doing it wrong. |
